Supplemental Terms of Use for 9Line Previews
(“Supplemental Terms”)
9Line may provide beta, preview, pre-release, and other new features and updates, services, or enhancements for optional evaluation (“Previews”) for the 9Line 911 compliance services (the “9Line services”). Previews are licensed to you as part of the 9Line Software & License Agreement and are subject to these Supplemental Terms. Do not use the Preview(s) if you disagree with these terms.
Preview Phases
9Line provides Previews in phases to give 9Line and our customers a chance to evaluate and provide feedback about each Preview before it becomes generally available in the 9Line service.
- Private Preview: 9Line will invite a group of customers to participate in early access to the Preview. 9Line does not provide support for these Previews.
- Public Preview: 9Line will allow any customer to evaluate the Preview. 9Line will provide Standard Support (as set forth in the Standard Support Service Guide), except that support service level agreements do not apply. If a particular Preview requires 9Line to enable it for a customer’s use, it will be noted in the description, and a customer must create a ticket in the 9Line Help Center Website (https://support.9line911.com) support portal (the “Portal”) to request access.
- Generally Available (GA): After the public Preview is finished, the Preview will be available for production use, and 9Line will provide Standard Support (as set forth in the Standard Support Service Guide). As new features and updates can impact user experience, we encourage customers to try new features via Previews when offered.
Private Preview Features
There are currently no features in the private preview phase.
Public Preview Features
The following features are now in the public preview phase.
9Line for Cisco BroadWorks API
The 9Line for Cisco BroadWorks API is a developer feature for carrier customers using the 9Line for Cisco BroadWorks service. These APIs are an input to control the configuration of the 9Line service instead of using the 9Line Portal. Customers are required to limit transactions to 2 per second during the public preview.
9Line for CUCM API
The 9Line for Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) API is a developer feature for customers using the 9Line service for the CUCM platform. These APIs are an input to control the configuration of the 9Line service instead of using the 9Line Portal. Customers are required to limit transactions to 2 per second during the public preview.
9Line Single Route™
This feature requires 9Line to enable it for the customer’s use; please open a support ticket for activation. The 9Line Single Route feature is a call routing feature for BroadWorks carriers and enterprise calling customers who use Cisco Webex and Microsoft Teams within their environment. It is intended to allow customers to configure a single route to 9Line for all emergency 911 calls, regardless of the application, so that 9Line can determine the application type and route the call to the correct destination without further customer involvement.
9Line Agent Alerts
The 9Line Agent Alerts feature allows for creating alerts for agent statuses. As this feature undergoes further development, additional monitored components will be added.
Generally Available Features
The following features are now in the generally available phase.
Single Sign-On
Single Sign-On based on SAML2.0 is intended to enable organizations to switch to their enterprise identity and access management platform to authenticate users attempting to access the 9Line Portal. In its current configuration, 9Line-defined roles will dictate a user's access to the 9Line Portal. For the latest information on supported identity providers and further information regarding the configuration of SSO, please consult the dedicated SSO documentation SAML SSO with 9Line.
